Meet Your Alaska Wedding photographer

If I’m supposed to document one of the most special days of your life with genuine authenticity, we should probably get to know each other, yeah?

to be honest - I never set out to become a wedding photographer.

I just knew I wanted to run a business that let me bring beauty and joy to others. Then I shot my first wedding and well - I was hooked. It escalated when I got married and had a less-than-stellar experience with my own wedding photography. That lit a fire in me to make sure my couples never feel that kind of letdown.

I want you to relive your wedding day with the same passion and beauty in which it happened. Cheesy? Maybe. True? Absolutely.

I know alaska like the back of my hand, and it truly comes in clutch.

Luckily for you, I’m well versed in navigating Alaska’s unique challenges - weather, lighting, insects (yes, you WILL need bug spray, and I have some in my bag) and I can bring you to those perfect places only a local would know.

born and raised in the last frontier

I grew up on a houseboat, flew around in bush planes, and still get goosebumps when I see our majestic mountains. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking, fishing, belting out tunes or hunting for hidden gems in Barnes and Noble’s clearance racks. My husband is my rock, and our love story reminds me every day why capturing yours is so important. Oh, and we also have a really freaking cute kid named Mav and two very sweet but high energy pups that we love.

and of course, a deep love for Alaska’s untamed beauty. I live and breathe these values in my work and my life.

If we were playing trivia, here’s what you’d need to know about me:

Favorite outdoor hobbies: Hiking, camping, sitting by the fire and fishing.

Favorite music artist: Novo Amor is always in my top 5 on spotify wrapped, but I also love some good 5 Seconds of Summer, NF, Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan...… don’t ask my favorite artist. I literally cannot choose.

Favorite spot to watch the sunset: I would say the top of Mt.Baldy (my go to hike) but honestly, anywhere on the Seward or Glenn highway. The mountains around every corner turn pink and I cry a thousand internal tears of joy and beauty.

Favorite coffee drink: White chocolate americano OR brown sugar shaken espresso!!

Favorite book of all time: fiction, I’d have to say Fourth Wing or Court of Mist and Fury. Non fiction, Atomic Habits / Get Out of Your Head!

Favorite campfire activity: literally staring at the fire, drinking coffee if it’s morning, beer if it’s evening, thinking or talking with whoever I’m with. It’s peaceful.
