Hey! I’m glad you’re here!
I’m Rachel, and I am an intimate wedding + elopement photographer here in Alaska. I live in the Anchorage area and am living my best Alaska life with my husband and two pups!
I’ve been doing photography for over 10 years, and my camera is basically an extension of my arm at this point.
I would love to teach you all about how to become confident with your camera in order to take the photos you want, or to help you get to the next level with your photography goals!
Rachel Struve Photography started
as a hobby in high school - I taught myself through library books (which makes me feel old), the occasional YouTube video, and a LOT of trial and error. Now, photography is my full time job!
Although I’m proud of what I figured out on my own, I remember wishing that I could pay someone to answer my questions and give me feedback in real time (especially when it came to diving into business). It would’ve saved me hours (maybe years) and a lot of frustration!
While trial and error is always going to be a part of the learning process, the more informed you are when you start out, the faster you move past it to confident skill - and that’s what I want to offer you. The past 10 years of my trial and error will be your ticket to confidence now!
