Top 10 Wedding Venues in Alaska
Let me help you answer the question “Where can I get married in Alaska?!”
I tell all my couples that locking in the date and venue is the hardest part of wedding planning. After that, everything else can start falling into place! Here’s a resource to help you find the Alaska wedding venue of your dreams.
It’s no secret that wedding venues in Alaska can be hard to find, and sometimes harder to imagine what your Alaska wedding could look like if it was held there. Let me share my top 10 suggestions for wedding venues in Alaska. In this list (in no particular order) you’ll find venues in Anchorage, Seward, Homer, Sutton, Palmer, Hatcher Pass, and in between! Most of these venues will accommodate an average size wedding, but some are more suited to smaller numbers. Hopefully, your dream venue is on this list or at least gets you pointed in the right direction!
Raven Glacier

Raven Glacier Lodge is a magical venue hidden in the forests of Girdwood, Alaska. Think deep green from the woods, fairy lights across the property, rich browns from the lodge and old timey warmth inside the rooms. The preferred ceremony spot is held in front of a serene pond holding floating lanterns.
This alaskan venue is best suited to smaller weddings, since as you can see in the photos below, the ceremony area fills up pretty quickly since you’re surrounded by alaska foliage and trees. The host and owner usually includes catering in her packages and the food is incredible. End the night dancing away with your loved ones on the covered dance floor.
2. Seward Windsong Lodge

Seward windsong lodge is a wedding venue in Seward Alaska and as you can see for yourself, the views from the ceremony location are immaculate.
One amazing benefit of the lodge is of course, the option to block off rooms for guests coming to alaska for your wedding to stay in less than a five minute walk away from the ceremony. Space to get ready with bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the choice of a couple different reception spaces depending on the size of your party. Another perfect option for a destination wedding to alaska - and if you’re one of my clients, I have a special deal for you if you’re still looking for a venue for 2024!
3. Veil and Vine

Based in Palmer, Alaska, this modern farm style wedding venue with mountain views is a beautiful option that’s newer on the scene. The main space has a bright, high ceiling just waiting to be decorated in your style. Hold your ceremony out in the field if weather permits or bring it underneath the pavilion like this couple did if the clouds come - either way.

4. Mountain Field Farms

This intimate venue out in Palmer Alaska is not only one of my favorite venues year round, but my TOP recommendation if you want to get married in Alaska in the winter and want a cozy, wintery feel. From their gorgeous bridal suite with a vaulted ceiling, glass doors, spacious bathroom, to the spiral staircase, fireplace and beautiful dark wood table downstairs - it’s truly the stuff of dreams. In the summer, you can get married outside next to peony fields on a clear day you can see pioneer peak in the distance.
5. Briarwood Farm

Located in Sutton, Alaska (north of Wasilla/Palmer), this venue is another taste of the rugged charm of Alaska. With views in almost every direction, guests can breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the scenery while celebrating the happy couple. Tucked into the Kenai mountains, this alaska wedding venue is literally surrounded by peaks, pine trees, and picturesque bodies of water. One of my favorite features of this venue is the tall windows throughout the space. Have your ceremony outside in front of the mountains, with the option of tents for your reception space just in case alaska weather changes your plans! There are so many beautiful photo spots and you and your guests will get a beautiful taste of Alaska wilderness and the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere with all of the modern conveniences.
