Tell me this isn’t what you think of when you think of alaska winter engagement photos? We could not have planned the snow even if we did it on purpose.
Tyler and Alexis met me at the base of a mountain (basically) in the middle of a surprise blizzard for their engagement photos. We chatted from car to car windows in an attempt to make sure Alexis’s beautiful hair stayed intact for as much of the session as possible - joke is on me, her hair was perfect the entire time even after being bombarded by snowballs / I mean snowflakes.
It may have been difficult to walk in, but it was an alaska winter wonderland. Tyler and Alexis frolicked around in the snow with me without hesitation!
We took a break halfway through their engagement session to warm up in our vehicles and it was just what was needed to finish strong!! They switched their outfits up a bit and as we walked to the next location, they shared a little bit of their story with me, their personalities and life changes, and some of their hopes for the future.
I’m so honored when any couple chooses me to photograph their engagement photos and these two were no exception. Thank you Tyler and Alexis for loving each other and choosing me to photograph it! You made the blizzard look so good.
