Where do I begin?

I have been taking family photos for Aubrey’s family for a few years now, and our most recent family session happened to be a couple days after Zeb and Aubrey got engaged! I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding in April.

It was my first time shooting at the Second Star Mansion in Homer - and yes, it is as spacious and beautiful as it sounds! They wanted their day to be relaxed, special, and focused on the most important thing - being together. The couple was surrounded by their closest family and friends, the sun was shining (this is a rare occurrence in Homer!), every detail was stunningly put together. I felt so honored to be present for this sweet time of fellowship and commitment between the two of them and the people that supported them.

Zeb and Aubrey’s story had a few twists and turns, a couple ins and outs; but the overall feeling between the two of them on this day was a deep, peaceful, and determined knowing that they were for each other. They both have their wild and they both have their steady, and it’s a beautiful thing to see what God brought together.

Zeb, Aubrey, friends and family, being able to photograph this day was such a blessing and it fills my heart to know that you have these memories forever. Thank you!
